OUR SCHOLARSHIPS

Established with $100,000. The recipients of the scholarships shall be residents of Ripley County, Missouri, who are graduates of the Doniphan, Missouri, or Naylor, Missouri, High Schools who are in need of financial aid. First awarded in Fall 2003. $30,480 awarded to date.

$10,749.03, established 7-13-2005. Preference to children or grandchildren of Missouri Pacific employees living in the college district. $2,000 awarded to date.

Established Fall 2012. To be funded from sale of property – Until sale of Property is funded from general funds (to be repaid when property is sold). To be awarded to a TRCC student or recent HS graduate working toward a career in education. $9,000 awarded to date.

$40,000 12-30-02. $1,410. Added 1-07. Recipients shall be residents of Ripley County, Missouri, who are graduates of Doniphan or Naylor High Schools who are in need of financial aid. Awarded to graduating senior who is planning a career in agriculture, nursing/allied health or computer technology. $17,250 awarded to date.

Established 10-14-04 $28,303. Funds in Edward Jones Account. Awarded to students of any age who live within the college district and can show financial need and academic merit. $18,919 awarded to date.

Established Fall 2017. $200,000 + currently in account. Awarded to traditional or non-traditional in-district students in need of financial aid. $39,500 awarded to date.

Established 2-6-07. $7,147. Graduate of Van Buren High School with first consideration a music major. Next would be education major. $1,250 awarded to date.

Established Fall 2012. $2,230. To in-district student on basis of scholarship, character, and financial need.

Established 1-16-09. $9,000. Award to be given to a deserving student majoring in either music or the medical field. $3,000 awarded to date.

Established 5-16-02 ($50,000) Awarded to a female who receives no other financial assistance. Candidate should be interested in any phase of Nursing program. $17,502 awarded to date.

Established fall of 2012. Donations to date; $63,343. First required to be awarded to a single parent based on scholarship, character and financial need. Amended to include any deserving female in-district student. $14,000 awarded to date.

Established 8-23-95, $41,876.85. Recipients will be a student who is or has been accepted into the TRCC Nursing Program. In-district based on financial need and academic standing. $10,500 awarded to date.
